We are proud to present this outstanding Cessna 340. No stone has been left unturned with recent upgrades and it is currently undergoing a full avionics refit that leaves non of the original avionics or engine monitoring in place. The aircraft has been brought totally up to date with the latest offerings from Garmin including dual Garmin G500Txi displays, dual GTN750Xi, Garmin engine monitor and fuel guages, digital autopilot along with many other options listed in the avionics list below. We do not have photos of the completed panel yet as it is still in the avionics shop and work is due to be completed mid December.
The owner has recently spent a small fortune on the aircraft and performed just about every possible modification possible as well as replacing many items such as all the fuel bladder tanks and de-ice boots. The reason being that his plans were to use the aircraft to fly his family across the country on a regular basis and safety was his upmost concern. Although not pictured the aircraft is in the process of having strakes fitted that again increase the safety due to better VMC numbers as well as giving a better rate of climb and cruise speed. All exterior lights have been upgraded to WAT Led’s this includes all beacons, wing tip strobes, tail beacon and landing lights, engine narcel lights are being installed.
This 340 benefits from the Keith electrical air conditioning system, it really cools the aircraft down and can be also powered by a GPU while on the ground so no need to have the engines running in order to cool the plane down prior to departure.
Newly installed is also four aux fuel tanks each 18.5usg from Griggs Aircraft, these are located behind the engines and really add to the range and endurance of the plane. The original aircraft has the larger aux tanks so a total of 163usd plus 74usg giving a grand total of 237usg of fuel.
The leather interior is new, it is yet to be installed and will be completed once the avionics are fitted, this includes a new headliner and carpets. Please note that in the photos the interior has just been placed in the aircraft to take photos and will be fitted correctly once the avionics are finished. The exterior paintwork was completed in 2010 and will be refinished prior to delivery.
Engines are RAM IV 325HP and were installed in 2010 with currently 1050 hours each, the propellers we also new in 2010 with the same hours. Compressions are high and running well.
The aircraft can be viewed at our Fort Pierce facility and secured now for delivery late December. If you are looking for a pressurised Cessna twin then look no further. There really is nothing more that you could wish for from a Cessna 340 as everything has been completed on this aircraft, it is only for sale due to the owners change in aircraft requirements hence he is upgrading to a larger aircraft. Call us today to discuss, it may also be possible to take your existing aircraft as part exchange.
