This is a rare original owner (picked up from factory in November 2001) low-time aircraft. The aircraft has no damage history and was always hangared with complete logs. Annual completed in October 2023, engine check is good. The cost and downtime of updating the avionics on an earlier generation Cirrus are already done for you!
The “6-pack” cluster was updated in 2012 and Aspen’s upgraded again in 2022. Aspen packages include Flight Director, AOA, Synthetic Vision. Exceptional redundancy. The Aspen’s have a Revision mode where in case of PFD failure, with the touch of a button, the MFD becomes the PFD via dual AHRS. Even in the case of complete aircraft power loss, each Aspen has a 30 minute backup battery. The Aspen’s are driven by a Garmin GTN750 and GTN650 which allow the pilot to choose from dual WAAS GPS, dual com radio, and dual VOR/ILS. There is also a large screen Avidyne EX5000 MFD for moving map and engine monitoring.
The parachute was repacked in 2022, next replacement is not required until 2032. Approximately 680 TT and 680 SNEW on engine. 1090 lbs. UL. Interior is cream and in good condition, refurbished in 2012. This is a great plane for a seasoned pilot or someone looking to build time in an earlier model Cirrus with more current/modern avionics.
