Summary
Beautiful example of a well built RV-6A with lots of extras. Second owner from a builder that completed 3- RV 6’s and this was his last and best, absolutely excellent workmanship. It flies straight and true with no rudder trim required. It gets off quickly and outclimbs a 6 with 180 hp fixed pitch. It is a great mountain flying machine with wonderful performance at 12,500 feet. You can expect to cruise at around 160- 165 knots at this altitude burning between 6.9 and 7.5gph depending on power setting. Features the AntiSplat lifetime, no grease nosewheel bearing modification and balance that ensures very smooth operation. Canopy Custom cover and Wing Jacking points are included. Aircraft has always been hangered and special prep has been done to the engine in the winter months to ensure a totally corrosion free environment. This aircraft was built in and exported from the USA….an easy process to send it back home. All original USA Log Books. Aircraft hangered in Nanaimo BC Canada.
